So my favourite EVER singer is Taylor Swift, who sings mostly country. She's also starred in films such as Valentine's Day with Taylor Lautner (who she dated) and has recently bought my favourite breed of cat: the Scottish Fold! (I'll put a picture up of her with it on here - the cat is called Meredith).
Here's just some of my favourite songs of hers:
Forever and Always
Back to December
Love Story
Hey Stephen
Dear John
Last Kiss
I'd Lie
I Heart ?
Permanent Marker
Mine
etc etc etc

A list of things you probably don't care to know about me but I'm going to tell you anyway because I'm avoiding homework :D
1.) My favourite numbers are 2, 12 and 21
2.) My favourite times table is the 7x table
3.) I love pigeons, frogs/toads, rabbits and most animals, but I don't like ferrets (not because one bit me but because they're boring) or hamsters because even though they're cute they always seem to get cancer.
4.) I used to collect bouncing balls so I could throw them all at the same time and watch them cause havoc.
5.) One of my favourite words is Hubris - when a man experiences God-like arrogance.
6.) I often prefer an animals company than that of a humans.
7.) I love my life, unlike the spoilt people often around me.
8.) I hate going down town purely because of the amount of secondhand smoke.
9.) I love coffee.
10.) I've broke the law (and not from downloading music).
11.) I have amazing skills with a bow and arrows ;)
12.) My favourite colour is green.

Random as can be
I LOVE the Hunger Games! I saw the film last week and finished the three books in under a week. I'm definitely Team Peeta, though at first it was pretty even until Gale became more detached from Katniss. I would even go as far to say the books and film are better than the Twilight Saga. (If you have no idea what I'm talking about...well, nevermind.)
Moving topic because I'm just not in that committed mood today, I've been thinking about how some people associate things like colours and numbers to routine things like days of the week. I recently heard of a man - who I can't recall the name of - who used to see different notes in music as different colours, and claimed he could see these colours emitted off of the musical instrument even when he went deaf. Here's a list of what I associate different colours to (in no particular order):
Purple - Luxury, thunderclouds, Thursdays, a 'heavy' feeling
Green - Sundays, writing, health, relief/calmness
Orange - Warmth, autumn, energy, Saturdays
White - Snow, winter, purity, sleep
Blue - Artificial products, 'gloom', Mondays
Pink - uncontrollable circumstances (especially 'hot pink'), annoyance, icky tracksuits, Tuesdays
Yellow - energy, electric, adrenaline, Fridays
I'm going to leave it at that now (loss of commitment, as said previously), so I'm just going to add a bunch of funny pictures I found over the internet for your entertainment.

Snowflakes - Chapter One
Here's the start of my book which I've been writing for a while:
“I’ve had it for a while...Jago thought I’d need it one day...” Alison responded, and Miranda noticed she sounded a little more animated.
“I should probably respect him a little more, he has some sense,” Miranda said stubbornly, as if the words were not meant to be formed from her mouth.
Alison vaguely smiled as her mind wondered from the daunting topic, for she had developed a switch in her brain; once she had moved topic from these life-death situations, no emotion would come to her when next recalling. She was suddenly relieved, yet remained weary after the adrenaline rush.
“I need sleep…” Alison explained before declining to her pillows.
Alison sank into the chair at her desk, her light structure collapsing in on itself with obvious tiredness. With shaking hands she placed the gun, heavy with guilt, in the bottom drawer at her feet. Her eyes were glazed over as she looked back to what had taken place a mere half hour ago, and she flinched when a punch on the locked door rattled sharply in hers ears.
“Alison! It’s me Miranda, open the door,” Miranda bellowed in a breathless manner. She knocked two more times and Alison, in fear that Miranda would break down the door, made her way over and unlocked it.
Miranda strolled over to Alison’s bed and placed herself in the centre. She was the exact opposite to Alison; she had uncontrollable blonde hair that was cut to the top of her neck, she was lightly tanned, had piercing and fierce blue eyes that could make an eagle cower, and had a tall, intimidating frame with the personality to match. Alison on the other hand had dark brown hair in neat little curls that formed naturally at the bottom. She had dull green eyes, and her skin was an unhealthy white which never tanned. The fact that she was just a little smaller than most her own age brought out her vulnerability and fragile state which she had developed since the death of her parents.
“What happened, Alison?” Miranda persisted with apparent impatience. She guided Alison to sit next to her when she noticed her rocking, imbalanced on her own feet.
“There...they came back,” Alison whispered, her dry throat limiting the ability at which she could talk. “Only two this time, I managed to run one off, but the other one caught up and –“
“You killed him?” Miranda interrupted, and when Alison nodded slightly, she continued; “how?”
Alison pointed to the bottom drawer of her desk. Miranda passed the space in one swift movement and yanked open the drawer. “Where’d you get this?” she asked Alison, beginning to sound vaguely fascinated. “Alison! It’s me Miranda, open the door,” Miranda bellowed in a breathless manner. She knocked two more times and Alison, in fear that Miranda would break down the door, made her way over and unlocked it.

The Hunger Games
So I've began reading this book called hunger games last night and am up to page 170, and I love it already. I'm not going to give any spoilers for your sake, but I will recommend it highly. As many of you shall know, the film is out in the cinema now (which I have only seen the trailer for) and it has Jennifer Lawrence in it who has been in many films I like, best of all X-men First Class, playing Katniss, the main character. Josh Hutchinson (from Bridge to Terribethia, one of my favourite films, and, ironically, Cirque Du Freak, which is one of my worst films, though he was still the best character in it) is also playing one of the main characters in it, playing Peeta Mellark.
Also, my favourite singer, Taylor Swift, made a song for the soundtrack - also on this blog - which I love.

Art GCSE help!
I need some advice on my Art GCSE exam - can anyone think of what themes I could do for art based on animals, or know any animal artists?

'Speechless'
Even though I don't like Lady Gaga all that much, I love this song by her called 'Speechless', probably the only song of hers I like and yet the one nearly everyone overlooks. It was actually written to convince her dad to undergo heart surgery according to wikipedia. This is what she said about her dad's situation; "My mom called me and I was very depressed. I was on tour and I couldn't leave, so I went into the studio and I wrote this song 'Speechless,' and it's about these phone calls. My dad used to call me after he'd had a few drinks and I wouldn't know what to say. I was speechless and I just feared that I would lose him and I wouldn't be there."
Here are some of the lyrics:
I can't believe, what you said to me
Last night we were alone
You threw your arms up,
Baby you gave up, you gave up
I can't believe how you looked at me
With your James Dean glossy eyes
In your tight jeans with your long hair
and your cigarette stained lies
Could we fix you if you broke?
And is your punch line just a joke?
I'll never talk again
Oh boy you've left me speechless
You've left me speechless, so speechless
And I'll never love again
Oh boy you've left me speechless
You've left me speechless, so speechless
I can't believe how you slurred at me
with your half-wired broken jaw
You popped my heart seams
All my bubble dreams, bubble dreams
And so on. But yeah, I thought this would make a good blog post considering lyrics seem to be everyone's theme this week. :P

A Day in the Sun
Here's some picture's of my two sisters Mina and Alana, my brother Blake, his friend William, Nathan, Alice and Daisy, along with my two dogs, Kane (the collie) and Skip (the English Toy Terrier) and I up the hill in one of my favourite places to hang out. I love this place, there's rarely any people that pass by and if they do they very often have a dog for Skip and Kane to play with, not to mention my house is quite literally at the bottom of the hill below the white horse, and you can see everything from up there. The cows have recently been moved from there so I'm also allowed to take the dogs in there without worrying about them.
