New Blog
Ok, so I haven't been on this in a real long time, and have realized I have over 6000 page views, woohoo! Since I haven't been on this in a real long time, i want to start fresh on hopefully a blog that'll turn out just as successful as this one. I think it'll be a better quality than this one, as my photography and various other skills have improved loads and it will probably make the entire blog look better, so here it is; http://jhjc21.blogspot.co.uk/
Thanks for reading, I loved creating this blog and will hopefully enjoy it just as much on the new one, see ya! :)

New Camera and Skip's Birthday!!
So it's Skip's birthday today, he was born on Christmas eve and we got him on Valentine's day. He got a bunch of tripe sticks and a wonky chomp, and he's ten years old today.
And I got a new camera for Christmas since my original one has broken; the new one is a Samsung DV90 and is really good so far. I've mostly been testing out the flash on it since my other one lit up everything instead of making the background black:

A Rant at People
http://www.freetibet.org/
I've been really poked off about how the things that are going on in Tibet are still going on, and how barely anyone is doing anything in relation to what the chinese are getting away with. The link above is to a website I think is really good and worth looking at. Not to mention, all those people going on about how people blasphemy should be severely punished with life imprisonment and death?! http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-19906528 < And all these kids being accused of it when they're merely giving their opinion - one of them was 14 years old and with a younger mental age. ¬_¬

Hair
So I've dyed my hair. Not permanently though; just one of those '24 washes' ones. Washes ones. Strange.
Anyway, here's a picture of the new hair I reluctantly decided to put up (I look half-dead but it was the only decent picture I could get).
Onto a new topic; Taylor Swift has a new album. It will be released on the 22nd of October (this month) - yey!
You can already listen to some new songs of hers over YouTube, including:

Skippy bit the Judge
So I went to another dog show Sunday, and it turned out the judge was the vet that neutered Skip awhile back. He checked his condition on this table and Skip must have remembered him because he bit him :L He still came in 3rd for the best pedigree though. Just thought that was worth mentioning :P

RSPCA Dog Show
Yesterday I went to yet another dog show with my English Toy Terrier 'Skip', an event run by the RSPCA at the Green in Devizes, which was cool. I entered in the category; The Veteran Dog (basically the best old dog) and came in third, and got a pretty yellow rosette for it. I was really hoping there'd be a 'Best Trick' entry considering that's always fun to watch, and - more importantly - my Skip would win without a doubt with his 'skippy-twirl trick' :P I would take a picture of Skip with his RSPCA rosette but my camera's broke! :( At least 6th form's keeping me busy. I actually love it - I don't have one bad class (even the compulsory P.E is fun!) and even though we're not allowed to leave school during our free lessons 'till after the Christmas holidays, study lessons give me plenty of time to do homework to a decent quality. They've introduced the new school uniform into my school this year, which I reluctantly say is quite smart in appearance, and I like the inside pockets. However, the school rule that students aren't allowed to take their blazers off outside is absurd; even if they made it acceptable for hot weather, then the students would be exposed to the cold weather, and blazers aren't exactly the easiest things to put coats over if they prove insufficient. Not that it really matters to me - I'm in 6th form now! :D :P I'm taking Art, Religious Studies, Biology and Chemistry.
I've realized I've changed subject quite dramatically from the title of this blog, so I'll just leave it here.

The Hunt
This book has a sense of I am legend (which I'm still trying to finish reading), Daybreakers and The Hunger Games. I loved it, even if it had a few weird suggestions about the people that were closely described as vampires. Basically the book is set in a world run by 'people' who are killed by sunlight, can run faster than cheetahs, and devour humans (not just the blood) and the main character is a human - called a heper - who is trying to blend in with the people at school. Whilst trying to not draw attention to himself, he wins the 'lottery' of the decade; where people are given the chance to hunt down some of the last hepers. The majority of the book then goes on about how he survives trying to hide his human side as the vamp-people don't sweat, don't grow hair anywhere but their head, and don't need water.
One of my favourite chapters of the book is where the vamp-people smell a heper/human in the building - which turns out to be the main character, Gene - and try chasing it alongside Gene they don't know is a human, who tries losing them but ends up being followed by them continuously.Confusing I know, but really good.
I've just read through this and have probably confused you all. Sorry about that. Anyway, it's a must read, is very well written, and as Alyson Noel has described it, it has a "razor-sharp prose, a genius plot and a searing pace."

Sunrise
So I've been up since three this morning, but on the bright side (literally) I got to see the sunrise around six this morning and took some pictures.
Some pictures I took yesterday when I walked down town with my Mum and dogs;
< Yes, my dog eats like this...in public...
And I also took some cute pictures of my dog Skip yesterday when he was sleepy;
<Yawning doggy
Sleeping Skip >
And Skip sleeping with his nose squished >
